Revenue Recovery Process
EVERY ACCOUNT IS PROCESSED WITH THE MOST EFFECTIVE APPROACH TO RECOVERY
Collection activity typically starts within 3 business days. Accounts are entered into our system the same day but we like to familiarize ourselves with your customers before beginning collection activity. We develop a plan, set goals and train collectors if required. Once the plan is established we will identify your customers ability to pay, locate information and update your data files. You can access this information online anytime. Most contact is first conducted with a dialer to insure communication can be made. This allows United to service large value of placements and organize the most effective approach.
Upon verification of customer information, a recovery agent will call and begin to negotiate a resolution. For optimum performance he or she will attempt to secure payment in full. In addition to contact by phone, letters will be sent, insurance companies will be contacted if liable and options will be provided to your customer for debt resolution. If we can not resolve the account in 30 days we will notify the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax ® and TransUnion ®.) When a resolution is not achieved in 60 days we will begin legal activity for qualified accounts. Qualified accounts are established through asset searches. Legal action will result in garnishment and/or civil arbitration & lawsuit.
